What it does
Window tint is a thin film applied to the inside of your car’s windows. Good tint blocks most of the UV coming through the glass, cuts heat and glare, and adds privacy. It also helps keep your seats and dash from fading and cracking in the sun.
In a Charlotte summer, you can feel the difference. A car with quality tint heats up slower, and the AC doesn’t have to work as hard to cool it down.
We keep every install within North Carolina tint law, so you don’t have to worry about getting pulled over or failing your inspection.
Film options
The film you pick decides how much heat it blocks and how long it lasts.
The budget option. Adds privacy and cuts some glare, but doesn’t block much heat and can fade over time.
Better heat rejection than dyed film, won’t fade, and doesn’t interfere with your phone, GPS or radio.
Blocks the most heat without going dark, with no signal interference. If heat is your main concern, start here.
A strip across the top of the windshield to cut sun glare, kept within the legal limit.

Stay legal
North Carolina limits how dark your tint can be and where it can go. Every install we do stays within those limits.
The rules depend on the window and the type of vehicle. We’ll walk you through what’s allowed before we install anything.
North Carolina has medical exemptions for people who need darker tint. Ask us if that applies to you.
Tint that’s too dark can get you a ticket or fail your state inspection, so it’s worth getting right the first time.

Questions
Yes, within limits. North Carolina law sets how dark tint can be on each window. We’ll keep your install within the law.
If heat is the big concern, and in Charlotte it usually is, ceramic film is worth a look. If you mostly want privacy on a budget, carbon or dyed film can work.
It needs a few days to fully dry, and longer in cold weather. Keep the windows up and don’t clean the inside of the glass until it’s cured. We’ll give you the exact time for your install.
Ceramic and carbon films don’t interfere with phone, GPS or radio signals. Some metallic films can.
