Pre-storage season
The end of the season is the best time to detail your boat. Whatever goes into storage with it, like lake film, sunscreen and food on the vinyl, or damp carpet, sits there all winter and turns into stains, mildew and oxidation by spring.
A pre-storage detail gets the boat clean and dry inside and out and puts a layer of protection on the gelcoat before it sits. Then in the spring, we can come back for a spring prep detail so your first weekend is spent on the water instead of scrubbing the boat.
We work on boats right where they sit: on the trailer at your house, at a storage lot, or at the marina if your marina allows outside detailers. We’re 100% mobile and bring our own water and power.

How we do it
Every boat is different, so we look at it first and go from there.
We look over the hull, deck and interior, check the oxidation, and agree on the plan before we start.
Hull and deck washed to get off lake film, waterline scum, bird droppings and grime.
Chalky gelcoat gets machine compounded and polished. Same skill as paint correction, just on fiberglass.
Your choice of wax, sealant or ceramic coating, based on how long you want it to last.
Vinyl seats cleaned and conditioned, mildew treated, carpet cleaned, console and storage wiped down.
We go over the boat with you before we pack up, so you know exactly what was done.
Going into storage or getting ready for spring, we take care of it right where it’s parked.

We’re fully mobile, so your boat doesn’t have to go anywhere. We cover Lake Norman, Lake Wylie and Mountain Island Lake, plus boats stored anywhere around Charlotte.
The easiest setup. If the boat is on a trailer in your driveway or yard, we work on it right there.
We’ll meet you at your storage lot. Some lots have rules about outside work, so check with yours first.
If your marina allows outside detailers, we can come to you there. Check with them before you book.
We bring our own water and power, so it doesn’t matter what the lot or marina has.

In most cases, yes. Chalky, faded gelcoat can usually be brought back with machine compounding and polishing. Heavy oxidation takes more steps, and we’ll tell you what to expect when we see it.
Wax costs the least and wears off the fastest. A sealant lasts longer. A ceramic coating costs more up front but lasts the longest and makes the boat easier to clean. We’ll go over the options when we see the boat.
